Bath Pony Club is fortunate to call a remarkable piece of open land home. In a world where fields and green space are increasingly difficult to preserve, these acres provide something that cannot be created once they are gone --- room to breathe, places to gather, trails to explore, and a connection to the land and our community.

The property also contains historic buildings that tell the story of another time. The Firestone Barn and other historic structures are not simply buildings; they are tangible links to our community's past. Once lost, they cannot be replaced.

And perhaps just as important, this is a place where people come together. Children learn responsibility and confidence. Families build friendships. Volunteers of different generations work side by side. Young people learn from adults—and adults are reminded of the importance of passing traditions on.

You don't have to ride a horse to believe that open land matters. You don't have to have a child in Pony Club to value a place where young people learn, friendships grow, and generations connect. And you don't have to be a historian to understand that once historic buildings are gone, they are gone forever.
